Remote Learning Day - January 26, 2026

Posted Date: 01/23/26 (12:00 PM)

The North East School District will conduct a remote learning day on Monday, January 26, 2026, in response to the anticipated inclement weather.   Teachers will provide instructions to their students via Email, Google Classroom, and/or ParentSquare.

Students will be expected to complete assigned work from home.  Kindergarten through twelfth grade teachers will be available during each of the allotted times listed on the Remote Learning Plan to facilitate and support the remote learning process. Students will be able to connect with their teachers for guidance or assistance, via Google Meet (Grades 6-12) OR Email (Grades K-5).   ALL K-5 students should have a packet to complete with teachers being available during the assigned remote learning times.

We have included a link to the remote learning schedule below for your convenience, or it can be found on the district website @ www.nesd1.orgAcademics → Remote Learning.

The district will provide tech support for purposes of troubleshooting throughout the course of the school day.  The Technology Department can be reached at helpdesk@nesd1.org or by phone at [814] 725-8671 x2150.

Parents/guardians of students in grades sixth through twelve, please ensure your child has their Chromebook or access to a computer to complete their assignments.

There will be no AM/PM Erie County Tech and all activities are canceled on Monday, January 26, 2026.  If you have any questions, please contact your building administration.

Sincerely,

Dr. Michele S. Hartzell, Superintendent
